You can then proceed with the purchase by clicking on the 'Check out' button, or you can continue browsing and shopping by clicking on the 'Continue shopping' button.

You can pay for your order by secure online transaction with a credit or debit card.

Order confirmation

On completion of you transaction you will be given an order number. This number must be quoted in the event of any subsequent query. You will receive an order confirmation by email to the address you have supplied and a further email confirming that your order has been dispatched.

DELIVERY of your ORDER

All Deliveries

All deliveries – Please note that a signature is required by the each Courier at the delivery address provided in order for the goods to be handed over. There will be two attempts made to deliver the goods and if there is nobody available to accept the goods after the second time a delivery charge will be incurred by the customer for us to receive the goods back. This charge will be made to your Credit/Debit card.

Deliveries Within Ireland

All deliveries within Ireland and Northern Ireland will be at a flat rate of €7.50. There may be additional charges for very heavy goods. All delivered on orders over €200 will be Free Of Charge. You will be notified directly if such a charge is necessary.

All deliveries in Ireland, Northern Ireland and the UK are with Fastway Couriers or DPD and An Post unless otherwise stated.

Deliveries into the UK

Deliveries into the UK - carriage charge of €20.00. Additional charges may be incurred for very heavy goods. You will be notified directly if such a charge is necessary.

Deliveries into Mainland European:

Deliveries within the EU will incur a flat rate charge of €30.00, but for heavy items an additional charge may be incurred. However you will be notified of any additional charge and goods will only be dispatched when we receive confirmation from you or your acceptance.

Deliveries Worldwide

Orders can be delivered to most destinations around the Globe and a delivery charge will be quoted when you request to purchase items. This will be emailed to the email address you provide on your order form.

Orders placed from destinations outside the European Union are VAT exempt and will not have to pay the 23% VAT rate charged in Ireland.

Deliveries to the USA will incur a flat rate charge of €39.00, but for heavy items an additional charge may be incurred. However you will be notified of any additional charge and goods will only be dispatched when we receive confirmation from you or your acceptance.

Deliveries to Australia and New Zealand will incur a flat rate charge of €49.00, but for heavy items an additional charge may be incurred. However you will be notified of any additional charge and goods will only be dispatched when we receive confirmation from you or your acceptance.

Important -  overseas orders may be subject to customs duty charges on entering your country. We have no control over these charges and will have to be incurred by the purchaser. 

Return of Items

All Deliveries

If you wish to return or replace your purchase, we will accept returns provided that the goods are unused, are not damaged, in their original packaging and within 14 days of receiving them. Goods that are received after 14-days and are found to be faulty will only be redeemed by a credit note. Goods delivered Free of Charge will be subject to a carriage charge if returned for refund or credit. This charge will be made to your debit/credit card.

Please note - returned goods will not be accepted unless they are clean and dry due to the Health and Safety at Work. Any items returned to us in this state will be returned at your cost for cleaning before any further action can be taken.

Due to Health and Safety requirements, riding hats and skullcaps are not included in the returns policy and will not be accepted. This does not, however, affect your statutory rights.

We recommend that you obtain a ‘certificate of dispatch’ from your courier or an Post when returning goods and should be retained until you have received your refund/credit or replacement goods.

There is no ‘Return Policy’ on any of our ‘Sales Items’

Refunds are only issued if the items are deemed to faulty. If you continue to use the goods after finding a fault, it is assumed that you are accepting the goods in their damaged state and therefore we will not accept them for a refund.

In some circumstances,  manufacturers may wish to examine the goods for their own records and therefore, replacements may not be sent out until it is deemed that the original goods were defective.

Where goods are returned due to the customer selecting an incorrect size and requiring an exchange for the appropriate size instead of a refund, the goods are returned at the expense of the customer (as stated above) and an additional carriage fee is incurred by the customer.

Any breakages or damage incurred or items missing from the order during the delivery must notify Barnadown Equestrian Shop immediately. Declarations that items are missing or broken must be made within 24 hours of signing for the goods. It is imperative that any package received in a damaged condition MUST be opened immediately in the presence of the courier and a signature from the courier to acknowledge the damaged package (due to delivery/transit) must be acquired.  If this is not done we will not be held responsible.  Where possible please obtain a photo of the damage to the item.

 

Returning Goods:

You must contact us immediately when wishing to return goods (please see above for guidance on what is accepted as a ‘returned item’.  Returning goods from overseas must be clearly stated that these goods are ‘Returned Goods of Irish origin’ to inform Irish Customs Clearance. If this is not done and the Irish Customs charge a ‘duty’ on the returned goods – the package will not be accepted by us and will be returned to you.

Stock Controll

We endeavor to hold a good stock of our products at all times. However due to high demand and ‘seasonal items’ we may be ‘Out of Stock’ for some items and you will be notified in this situation.

Payment:

We accept all major credit cards and debit cards.

Cheques may be accepted if agreed over the phone or by email. Goods will only be dispatched when cheque has been cleared.  Cheques must be made payable to Barnadown Equestrian Shop and addressed to the above address.

Price changes

We will make every effort to ensure the prices on our website are accurate and correct, however prices may change up or down.  If there is a change in the price we will contact you on the phone number or email which you supplied us when you made the order.

All prices shown are in EURO and include Irish sales tax (VAT) at the current rate.

Any customs or import duty levied once the package reaches your destination country will be your responsibility, we have no control over this.
